The Half Marathon is a challenging and hilly course covering the expanse on Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and the Civil War era towns connecting them. Experience expansive views of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers while you enjoy a loop through Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Murphy Farm, Lower Town Harpers Ferry, John Brown's Fort, Bolivar, Storer College, and the homes taking you back to the 1860's. Our 5K event is a mix of trail and includes an out and back to a beautiful over look on the Murphy Farm Loop, a portion of Harpers Ferry National Park. Our Kids Event will be on site at River Riders and School House Ridge South.

5k
The 5K route is an enjoyable mix of road and trail, crossing from the River Riders adventure center into Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and the beautiful Murphy Farm loop. The finish is at the top of River Riders' famous zip line. All finishers will receive a local crafted medal. Whether it's your first 5K, or your 500th this is one to enjoy!tent and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.
